Instructions for Registering a team + rego payments.

Do not use the old registration system. Links to new system are on our home page http://www.hillstouch.com./   If you have registered on the old system you will need to do it again on the new one. The new system has lots of new features including weekly game reminders, updates, team stats, results, tables and full season draw.

After registering the team a Team Organiser can register other players as long as they know their names & email addresses. An easier way is to register the team and then get each player to "Join The Team" and register their own details by following the instructions below.

Instructions for players signing up to a team.

1. Team must already be registered on new rego system by the Organiser.

2.   Do not   register the team again as it will create multiple teams. Just join the team.

3. Click -   Find My Team      Then type in team name, select team from list, Then   JOIN THIS TEAM   and then Register. You will get an automatic email asking you to confirm your email address. The Organiser will then get an email saying this player wants to join your team - Accept or Reject.

4. A player can sign up to   multiple teams   using their same account/login.

All   PAYMENTS   by EFT or cash. Payments must be   Full Team Payments  . Individual payments are $100ea and must include name and team in description.   Hills Touch BSB: 732170 Acc: 525065.  A deposit of $200 is required at least 1 week prior to start of season or you cannot be placed in the draw. The balance must be paid on the first night of play.

Charity Gala Day  can   ONLY   be full team payment of $450 per team for any number of players and must be made by Sept 10.

Instructions for Individual players without a team.

Individual players who do not have a team yet can Register  HERE  and we will either place you in an existing team or form a new team of individuals. If you have friends who want to play we can put them in the same team with you.

JUNIOR TEAM Registration.

Follow instructions above. However because each player must have their own unique email address to register, parents with multiple children playing either need to allocate a different email address to each child or if that's not possible the team organiser should email the team details inc' DOBs to hillstouch@yahoo.com.au

Hills Touch is a friendly local Touch Football competition right in the heart of Baulkham Hills - Masonic Ovals (intersection of Jasper rd and Seven Hills rd, Baulkham Hills) & Yattenden Oval (John st Baulkham Hills). Touch is recognised as one of the best forms of aerobic exercise you can do in a team sport as it involves continuous movement over a 40 minute period. Most of us mere mortals however are saved from certain death by the unlimited interchange rule. Hills Touch offers a perfect opportunity to get fit, have fun, compete and socialise with old and new friends at a very convenient location.

Registration Fees of under $100 per player per season ($60 juniors) are very low compared with most sports and works out at $7-$8 per game ($5 jnrs). Compared to say Soccer $200-$300, Rugby $150-$250 per season or Indoor cricket at $15 per game, we are keeping player costs low so ther are no barriers to participation.

Although we believe participation in itself is the ultimate reward, especially for your health, winners will definitely be grinners when they are presented with their premiership embroidered caps, trophies, beer & champagne.

Competition Format
Hills Touch conducts 3 Senior competitions each year - Spring Sept - Dec, Summer Jan - April and Winter May - Aug.  Junior Comps run on Thursday afternoons 4.30-6.30pm from Sept - Dec (excluding school holidays)

The New Sensation - " SuperTouch TM " (invented by Pete in 2006) is played on Wednesdy & Thursday nights and has become a real hit at Hills Touch. 

Senior games are played from 6.30 - 8.45pm depending on time preferences with 4 - 5 divisions in each comp. Tue - Mixed Div 1-5 (min 3 girls/team).  Wed - Mens Div 1-4 + SuperTouch.  Thurs - SuperTouch Mens Div 1-3 + mixed Supertouch + Mens O/30's + Mixed Div 6 (normal touch). 

Junior Boys, Girls & Mixed will be played from 4.30 - 6.30pm U/8 to U/16 on Thurs afternoons.

Games are played as 7-a-side for mixed and lower mens divisions, with 6-a-side for Mens Div 1. Each team can have a maximum of 15 players and a minimum of 10, with 12 being the preferred number, to account for absentees as well as fatigue. Part-teams or individuals are most welcome to register and be grouped together to form full teams.

COMPETITION FEES  -

The competition is expensive to run. Especially now that Council has TRIPLED our ground hire charges. Our biggest costs are insurance, referees, field hire and lighting, plus balls, equipment, prizes and admin expenses which total many tens of thousands of dollars. To try to keep player fees low we are looking for some valued sponsors to help cover the cost of the Free team balls and prizes. If you have a business or know of one who would like GREAT EXPOSURE in the Hills District to thousands of local players, then let us know and we can show them how cost effective it is to advertising their business with Hills Touch. Includes Website Banner ad, official Ball Branding, Officials Shirt Branding etc.

Registration Fees pay for the following - Ground Hire (inc' new council Touch Tax),  Ground Lights, Ground Maintainence, Referee payments, Referee courses, Ref Uniforms,  Insurance (10 million Public Liability + player accident cover), Winners Prizes (inc Trophies, Caps, Beer / Champagne, bbq) Line marking, Equipment (office costs, balls, markers, mowing etc), Website, Legal fees, Venue Managers, Competition Manager.

Registration Fees for 2014 are as follows.

JUNIORS - $60ea. Discount - $55ea if full team fee (min 10) paid before round 1.

SENIORS - Standard Fee $100 per player (unless discount below applies). Due by Rd.2 at latest. $5 p/w Late fee applies after Rd.3

Discounts for "FULL TEAM PAYMENT" are as follows.

1. $100 per player if paid as " Full Team Payment  " before Rd.2 (+1 team bonus point)

2. $95 per player if paid as " Full Team Payment  " at or before Rd.1 (+2 team bonus points)

3. $90 per player if paid as " Full Team Payment  " 1 month prior to start of comp (+3 bonus points)
